SOLIS SRLS (Italy) is the coordinating organisation of Happiness in Practice: Positive Psychology & Community Resilience, an European project co-funded by the European Union. The project aims to promote emotional wellbeing, resilience, and creative practices within the field of adult education, responding to the growing need for preventive and community-based approaches to mental and emotional health.
European Partnership
The project is implemented by a transnational consortium of three organisations with complementary expertise:
SOLIS SRLS (Italy) – Coordinator
ESA – European Social Art (Spain)
PFE – Projects for Europe (Belgium)
Together, the partners bring strong experience in social innovation, participatory arts, theatre-based methodologies, adult education, and European cooperation. The consortium works collaboratively to develop accessible, transferable tools that foster social cohesion, wellbeing, and community resilience in diverse European contexts.
Progress Achieved So Far
Since the start of the project, the partnership has focused on the initial coordination and implementation phases, achieving several key milestones:
Kick-off and coordination meetings: partners have aligned on the project’s vision, objectives, governance, and operational planning.
Methodological development: the pedagogical framework has been defined, integrating principles of positive psychology, emotional wellbeing, and creative practices applied to adult education.
Communication and dissemination: the official project website, social media channels, and the first project newsletter have been launched to share progress and engage wider audiences.
Visual identity: the official project logo has been designed and validated, symbolising connection, shared joy, and community wellbeing.
Upcoming Milestone: First International Workshop in Modena (Italy)
From 19 to 21 January 2026, the partners will gather in Modena (Sala Redecocca) for the First International Workshop of the project. This three-day transnational meeting will focus on hands-on, collaborative learning and co-creation activities, including:
Applied positive psychology for educational contexts
Emotional wellbeing practices and stress management, including Laughter Yoga
Empathy Circles and active listening techniques
Autobiographical and creative workshops
Co-creation sessions for the development of the Happiness Toolkit
This workshop represents a crucial step in consolidating the project’s methodological framework and generating practical, replicable resources for educators, trainers, and facilitators across the participating countries.
Commitment and Outlook
As project coordinator, SOLIS SRLS will continue to lead the implementation of Happiness in Practice in close collaboration with ESA and PFE. The partnership is committed to strengthening European support networks, encouraging the exchange of good practices, and promoting preventive, educational approaches to emotional wellbeing in adult education.
