In March 2024, the "Agile Business Design for Senior Adult Migrants – BUSThink" project marked an important milestone with the celebration of its first International Workshop in Malaga, Spain. This meeting, which took place at the BIC Euronova business incubator in the heart of the Andalusia Technology Park, was a vibrant space for the exchange of knowledge and innovative practices. Solis SRL, as a key partner in this project, played a fundamental role by leading facilitation workshops that stood out for their interactive and enriching approach.
Beyond this initial event, during the first half of April 2024, the project partners deeply engaged in organizing and conducting six focus groups and in-depth interviews in three countries: Spain, Italy, and Belgium. This initiative involves 60 participants - immigrants over 50 years old with entrepreneurial aspirations in the EU. Through these meetings, the aim is to map out the expectations, needs, and motivations of this collective, focusing on the extraction of ideas and opinions that enrich the project's development.
The role of Solis in these activities is essential. By specializing in the facilitation of discussion groups, we ensure the legitimacy and reduction of biases in discussions, thus critically contributing to the project. This qualitative research process will culminate in the consolidation of local mappings and in the drafting of a tailored training guide, designed to support the business development of our participants.
The success of the workshop in Malaga and the meticulous planning of the focus groups underscore the importance of collaboration and innovation in Solis SRL's work within the BUSThink project. These initiatives not only reinforce our commitment to social entrepreneurship and inclusion but also highlight our focus on participative and empathetic methods to understand and meet the needs of older migrants wishing to embark on entrepreneurial activities in the European Union.

Thanks to the dedication and collaborative effort of all the project partners, we are making a difference in the lives of many, facilitating the path to business success for older migrants in Europe.Â
